How to choose – 4 questions
- Who will use the device? Random passers-by – choose an automatic model (iPAD or HeartSave YA). A trained team – the semi-automatic ZOLL is an option.
- Do you need CPR feedback? A sensor that measures compression depth and rate is offered by the ZOLL AED Plus (Real CPR Help®); the iPAD CU-SP1 helps with a CPR metronome.
- Might it be used on children? The iPAD CU-SP1 can be set to child mode by default; all models have a child mode or paediatric pads.
- Where will it be located? Outdoor placement requires a heated cabinet.
